Sarah Kinsel came to this pastoral call in 2014, after years of nonprofit service, creative practice, and spiritual companioning. She grew up in the Southern Ohio district of the Church of the Brethren and has received degrees from Earlham College and Earlham School of Religion.
In addition to her ministry at Peace Church, Sarah has also served on the board of Camp Myrtlewood, the Pacific Northwest District Board, and the Steering Committee of the Supportive Communities Network with Brethren Mennonite Council for LGBTQ+ Interests. She hikes, camps, writes, and occasionally leads retreats on wilderness and spirituality.
Sarah shares her life with her husband, Matt Guynn, and their young sons in East Portland, where they garden, play, and explore at the edge of a 600 acre forest reserve.
